About Shelley Bingham Husk

 

ShelleyShelley Bingham Husk comes from orange County, California, where her opera Emily, commissioned by composer Brent Peirce, premiered at the Muckenthaler Center to sold-out crowds.  She is a writer member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers), currently under contract with Plymouth Music Co., FLA.  Her choral Piece Children of Tomorrow was performed at the California State PTA Teacher of the Year Awards. 

 

Shelley’s poetry has been used by Texas artist Alan McMurtrey and has appeared in such publications as The Poet’s Guild Best New Poems, the Candlelight Poetry Journal, Eagles Flight Publication and Cadar Publishing’s Verses

 

Shelley began working in film when she co wrote The Maui Ditch Kids, with writer/director Bill Brown.; and most recently as Associate Producer for Flynn-Daines Production of Friends for Life.  

 

Shelley recently joined forces with Michael Flynn.  Together, they are currently working on several projects with their film company Locked Picture Films, LLC.
